About Me

I am Saghar Faridi, a Vancouver-based personal trainer with a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in human performance, exercise science, and evidence-based training methods.I help individuals improve strength, movement quality, physical function, and overall well-being through personalized training programs tailored to their goals, needs, and lifestyle.Alongside my work in health and fitness, I also have a professional background in acting. My experience in performance has cultivated a deep appreciation for body awareness, movement, discipline, and the connection between mind and body. It has also given me a unique understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional demands placed on performers, actors, and dancers.

My Journey

Growing up in Iran, I developed a passion for movement and athletics at an early age. My athletic journey began with competitive sprinting and track and field, where I cultivated discipline, speed, and resilience. I later broadened my experience by competing in swimming and volleyball, developing a diverse athletic foundation that continues to influence my approach to sport, fitness, and performance.Driven by a desire to better understand human performance, I pursued academic studies in Physical Education and Sport Sciences, earning a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. Alongside my scientific training, I discovered a passion for theatre and performance, which led me to train professionally in acting at Karnameh Acting School in Tehran. Through acting, dance, and performance, I developed a deeper appreciation for body awareness, creative expression, and the intricate connection between mind and body.After immigrating to Vancouver, I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and continue to work as both a fitness professional and actor. Today, my approach is shaped by the intersection of sport, science, and the arts. I believe this unique background allows me to help clients build strength, improve movement, enhance performance, and develop a deeper connection with their bodies. My goal is not only to help people achive their fitness goals, but also to empower them to move through life with greater confidence, awareness, and presence.

I believe the mind and body are deeply interconnected, each constantly influencing the other.Practices such as meditation, mindfulness, and body awareness shape how we experience life within our bodies, and how we show up in the world.I see the body as a temple—something to be respected, cared for, and nurtured. This care is not optional, but essential.To me, supporting this temple is one of life’s most meaningful responsibilities.
